This is what I love. This is more important to me than anything. Read on!
Jesus. He is my God. He found me and I found him quite some time ago, but he continues to pursue me, because frankly, I have a wandering heart. But he loves me and loves you. One thing that constantly amazes me about my God is the way he chases me and how he is constantly showing me that his way is best. My heart is ever deceiving me and thinks that I want certain things or situations to come to fruition in my life, but over and over again God shows me that his plans are greater. His ways are not my ways...and I can say with 100% relief...thank goodness! God has a plan and it is good. No matter what he does or decides to do to make that happen, it will be good in the end. And if it isn't ok, than it isn't the end. God is good. God is for me. If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31).
God created the world. He created me. He created you. He made our bodies and our souls. Our feelings and our desires. He created pleasure and joy. He created the trees and the ocean. Impressed? Because goodness I am.
When God created us, he made us in his likeness...giving us life. A good life that gave us unity with him and with others, perfect love and perfect joy. But do you know what? We are not God. We are human. And we sinned. When that happened, it separated us from God. God is a perfect God. He is perfect. Why would we deserve to be with him if we are anything other than that? That's the thing, we dont. But God, in his love and grace and mercy and longing, sent his son Jesus Christ to redeem us. To redeem and capture what he had wanted for us from the start. To capture our wandering hearts and bring them back to him.
When Jesus was born everything changed. The old was gone and the new had come. Our old dead selves could live. They could live if we believed and followed him. If we got out of the boat in faith and trust that Jesus was Lord and took his hand and went his way (it is so much better than anything I could have come up with!) we would be his and spend eternity in his presence.

The Lord wants me. The Lord wants you. He loves to love you and he loves to save you. One of my favorite verses in all of the Bible that shows me who God is in all of his beings is Psalm 18. Throughout the verse it speaks of his power and urge to save and redeem and cast away the enemy. And then it says this..."He sent from on high, he took me; he drew me out of many waters. He rescued me from my strong enemy and from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a broad place; he rescued me, because he delighted in me" (Psalm 18:16-19).
My eyes are ever toward the Lord; for he will pluck my feet out of the net (Psalm 25:15).
Christ wants all this for you too. He loves you. I would love to talk about this in more detail with anyone of you if you would like. Or I could recommend a book, get you a bible, help find a church in your area, etc. We can chat:)
